| Minor Plant Blooming Arcana Major Arcana: Major Earth Arcana. Origins: A new minor arcana created by a Neophyte. Casting: One should acquire a piece of a plant be it a root a petal or a stalk. The person would then cup the small piece of flora in their hands and shape it into a seed. The seedling can then be planted into a pot or dirt covered ground and be fed ones own starellite energy by placing your hands onto the dirt directly over the seed. One can then make the plant grow as far as they want. Focus: While turning the plant piece into a seed one must think of brand new life and the joys of parenthood. As one feeds starellite to the seed one must think of the little one growing and blossoming into adulthood. Effect: Turning any plant part into a seed wich one can grow naturally or faster with the means of magic. Reputation: The Arcana is so new that most people have not even heard of it yet but it would exist in the student works of some Major Earth Arcana Magus. | |

| Minor Shapeshifting Arcana Major Arcana: Major Birth Arcana Origins: Created by Mahari the Magnificent, this arcana has been under works for nearly one hundred years now, and has finally surfaced as a success. Under the theory of body manipulation, this arcana allows the caster to transform their physical form into a different creature, changing the makeup of the magi into something unknown to many. Mahari's family has a particular fascination with animals and creatures, also being known for the creation of the Malabar species. It requires a lot of visualization as well as focus, but once the proper form is targeted and the desired form perfected, the casting becomes easier, almost second nature. The hardest part of this Arcana is the creation of a new creature to transform to, requiring the proper elements to form. Casting: This arcana requires a step by step process. The caster will need a multitude of things, an empty book, some sort of journal like binder they can record all of their information as well as findings and new ideas, a particularly rune inscribed ink brush, and the ability to visualize creative creatures that can be brought to life. Due to the lack of knowledge the Citadel provides involving animals and creatures, the caster must do research upon animals of old, if there is anything to research. New creatures must be studied, perfected, crafted, and edited in order to create the final form. This also requires a decent knowledge of the anatomy, due to the fact that you are dealing with the (physical) form of a person, yourself. By beginning to gather components of the creature you wish to create, you then draw out sketches of this creature, the final copy being made with the ruined ink brush onto the journal. With this, you then press the ink to your palm, allowing the creature to be absorbed into your being, reciting the word "Muutaa, muutaa, muutaa", allowing yourself to transform into the desired creature. DISCLAIMER: This process may not work 100% of the time, and the Arcana itself is EXTREMELY dangerous for those with little knowledge of the anatomy or little concentration! Often, a caster will test this on a subject to ensure the creature desired is capable of transferring to this ritual, otherwise one could lose vital organs, body parts, or even be stuck in this form! In order to return to one's natural form, one must place their other palm on an image of one's self, drawings and sketches work, however pictures work BEST for this part of the ritual, or even models, idols, etc. By placing your palm upon said image/item, the caster will chant the word "Kaanteinen, kaantienen, kaantienen" in a similar fashion as before, allowing themselves to return to their natural form. Upon first try, this will be a sickening process, often causing the caster to become ill or queasy. With practice, this becomes MUCH easier. Spellwork: Upon mastering, this arcana is used to transform one's self into nearly anything imaginable. May be used for warfare, protection, scientific research, breeding, and personal usage. Reputation: The Arcana is thought of mostly as a rumor, as only one person in the Citadel has truly been able to master it's craft, that being the creator herself, Mahari. Those who claim the rumors to be true tell horrific tales of her power, saying she became a beast with spiked wings, eight eyes and massive fangs, leaping upon victims in a fury of raw power. Is it merely an Obsidian illusion, or is she truly able to become beasts of wonder? This arcana is known ONLY to Mahari, though if presented with a talented enough subject, she would consider taking on a Neophyte to pass on her knowledge to. If you wish to learn this arcana, please contact Zambie (das me). | |

| Minor Malabar Imprinting Arcana Origins: Crafted by Rhia the Ingenious, she spent her entire life devoted to the creation of the Malabar species, a species of adorable, little pet like minions that serve a magi as their fiercely loyal servants for the duration of that magi's lifetime. These Malabar, crafted from Rhia and now an entire species of their own, are breeded by Rhia and her family and sold to mages as pets. However, they are something so much more than that. This arcana allows the Malabar to be imprinted to a particular magi, and this Malabar will be loyal to that mage and that mage ONLY for the rest of it's lifetime. They can take simple commands, though can not communicate. Rhia passed on this arcana to her only daughter, Mahari, who now owns a Malabar business for breeding and imprinting. Casting: In order to imprint the Malabar with it's Master, the caster must take blood from the Master and create a special serum that the Malabar must drink from. After a 72 hour period of time has passed, where the Malabar will be under close inspection and care, the Master may come to receive his pet. The Malabar will either accept or reject the imprinting process at this time. If accepted, the Malabar will leave a mark on their master's hand, either the palm or the top of the hand, where the master holds claim over the Malabar. Each Malabar leaves a different mark, different in shape, size, color and style. Some Malabar leave ink like tattooing, others claw flesh like engraving symbols, etc. Spellwork: The caster will use serums and potions more than motions and movements, though spells will be used when the final process of the mark is placed upon the master, as well as continuous care for the Malabar over the 72 hour period of waiting. The Malabar could reject this process, changing it into one of many possibilities, meaning it may die, or have to be put down, depending how the process goes. Reputation: Malabars are highly sought after due to the rarity of animals/creatures in the Citadel, and only those with the proper coin may obtain one as their own. There are many different types of Malabar, ranging from small monkey looking creatures to squirrel looking animals, even to birds and octopi. No two Malabar are EXACTLY the same, and each typically is chosen by a magi due to it's resemblance to the magi itself. The Malabar's personality also may shift due to their Master's behaviors. Malabar Care: If you wish to own a Malabar, you must visit Mahari's Mabalbar Emporium in the Obsidian Tower, making their availability even more rare due to the locking of the Obsidian Tower! Malabars have a range of diet, each particular to that Malabar. If it is discovered that one is mistreating their Malabar, Mahari herself may remove the imprinting from one magi, which is a painful process for both the magi and the Malabar. If a Malabar's Master dies, the Malabar goes into a deep depression, often being known for roaming around the Tower, typically the place of their Master, and at night howling and crying out, their depression eventually leading to their own deaths. If the Malabar dies before the Master, the mark on the Master's hand will burn for several weeks until fading away, though it may always feel as though a piece of one's soul is missing, as it is rumored, though unconfirmed. Malabars are said to live upwards of 200 years, depending on their conditions and care. To command a Malabar, one must touch the imprinted symbol upon their hand with two fingers and give out simply spoken commands. Concepts for the Malabars: http://www.demilked.com/cute-animal-toys-gremlins-santani/This arcana is known ONLY to Mahari, though if you wish to work within her shop and care for the Malabars, please contact Zambie (das me). | |

| Minor Saint's Fists Arcana Major Arcana: Major Earth Arcana Origins: The Minor Saint's Fists Arcana originates from the Vermillion tower and is considered a basic yet potent battlespellcast. It is usually taught to young mages in the earliest years of their twenties. Assumed to have initially been created by Saint Isamm, a highly respected and devoted worshipper of The Allflame Mother. Casting: The Minor Saint's Fists Arcana is cast in a physically demanding fashion that favours strength and endurance. The caster lowers his body by bending his knees. In this state the caster is free to move about in low sweeping movements without fizzling the spell. It is considered something of a "charging" or "holding" position that can be broken. The spell isn't cast before the caster shoots their fists, palms hands or feet in a desired direction. This can be done in the lowered squatting position or on the way back up to a risen position. This way the casting is versatile, making it suitable for any situation a mage might find themselves in. Focus: Direction, intensity, strength and intent are all vital for the success of this Arcana. The caster must focus the strength and intensity of the casting at one or several given points, as the spell can be multiplied. The caster must embrace, control and harness its power. The casting can easily by fizzled if used by a weak will or interrupted. Effect: Once cast the Minor Saint's Fists Arcana propells mighty spears of solid rock from the caster's ground, barely any further than their feet can stretch at the most from their own being. The caster, depending on their efficiency can cast anything from one to a handful of pillars from the ground, making cages, walls or just a oncoming barrage of pulverizing fists. It can in addition be cast in rapid succession. A mage who've mastered the arcana can be considred a mighty adversary as they can cast bigger, mightier, stronger and faster fists. Reputation: It is a common used Arcana, especially among fighters and the likes of Battlemages. The fists also serves as a good practice object for young mages to flail at, due to their nature and lengthy effect. It is considered a fairly difficult arcana to master and only the toughest of mages proves to have the neccessarily mentality and physique to excell in its use. | |

| Minor Hyetal Hydra Arcana Major Arcana: Major Water Arcana Origins: The Minor Hyetal Hydra Arcana was created by the youngest member of the Ner family, Lynn Nerita. Within her locked chambers in the Blue Suited, Azurite Tower, she created it with grief and anger burdening her heart. This all while she was just a little girl. Casting: Like a blooming flower, the casting takes on the physical form much like an ascending object attempting to break through the water surface. The caster holds his/her hands folded and close to their chest, a embrace that symbolises birth. The caster continues with slowly opening their hands so they can rise, symbolising the growth following birth. When the arms a fully stretched the caster drops them with palms flat toward the ground, symbolising maturity and the start of decay. At this point the Arcana will take on the desired form of the caster and is further under his/her control. It can be moved by easily moving both hands in any direction, just like a conductor. Focus: Upon its creation, it was given birth with grief, pain, anger and fury. They all play important parts of the focus recquired, and depending on what the caster focuses most at, the casting can take on different forms ( also hence to the caster's use of the Arcana ). Due to its destructive nature, the Arcana also demands a will that accepts its destructive force, a mind set on destruction. Due to this, it can prove to be quite difficult for certain mages to cast the arcana with a collected and calm mind. Effect: As the title might imply, the Arcana summons forth an aquatic Hydra. This usually from a source of water, as the Hydra ascends from the body of the water. The Hydra takes on the form of elevated water serpents. Their entire body is made out of water with a particular strong water surface tension that is kept ahold with magic. The serpents can all be connected to a pool of water without needing to actually have a common body. The caster can decide the amount of heads, strength to the water tension, their size and girth. The caster is also free to add features if desired, but it is important to remember that it is still just water, so any small addition can simply just fall off or be absorbed into the main bodies of the Arcana unless the caster intends to maintain them. Reputation: It is not unusual for Azurites to dwindle in the Arcanas of Water, and this one is no exception. This particular Arcana has barely been observed as just a handful of individuals has ever had the chance ( or misfortune ) to lay eyes upon it. As a little girl, Lynn would frequently hide herself within the body of the Hydra in a tiny air bubble, giving her the title of "The Serpent's Heart". | |

| Minor Glacial Manipulation ArcanaUser can create, shape and manipulate ice, water frozen into a solid state and appears naturally in forms of snow, hail, icicles, ice spikes and candles, glaciers, pack ice, frost, and polar ice caps, and cold by reducing the kinetic energy of atoms and thus making things colder, for various effects and combinations.
Create/generate/increase, shape and manipulate cold and ice for various effects, freezing areas of differing sizes/shapes and/or objects for several effects:
- Cold Energy Manipulation: The user can manipulate extremely cold energy capable of freezing anything it comes into contact with. This energy can be composed of an extremely cold gas such as air, or a magical energy.
- Frostbite to freeze anything to atomic levels making it fragile.
- Cryokinetic Constructs including weapons, walls, and armors.
- Cryokinetic Surfing: User controls the ice in a way that increases their ability to move and/or maneuver either by granting them abilities they otherwise lack or allowing them to ignore normally needed equipment.

| Minor Burrow's Denizen Arcana Major Arcana: Major Water Arcana Origins: The origin of the Arcana started with the magical mastering of the natural phenomenon of mist/fog. At some point this form of mastering developed into many sub arcanas to be applicable to a wide range of circumstances. The Minor Burrow's Denizen Arcana is one of the many sub arcanas that is rooted to a simpler Mist Arcana. The Phantom Fox is rumoured to be its creater. Casting: The casting for the Minor Burrow's Denizen Arcana happens in two stages and is minimal due to its subtle nature. Depending on the caster the Arcana can be cast with either one or two hands. The caster flaps his hands like that of a bird's wings, but not with the same rapid motion of course. It is a slow and tantalizing movement that can be extremely subtle due to the slow motion. Once through the first casting stage the caster's hand(s) becomes something of a ward that keeps the magic in place and permits for the second stage to take place. Focus: Silence, subtlety, avoidance. The entire point of the Minor Burrow's Denizen Arcana is to confuse, manipulate and dull the senses of others caught in its effect. Furthermore it hides. The caster must keep a cool head, and furthermore be in and have control of the surroundings. A caster who fails to remain silent, calm and systematic will most likely fizzle the effect, as it can have a counterintuitive effect if used poorly. Effect: Upon casting the first stage the caster summon forth a mist of varying thickness that covers his/her surroundings. The range depends entierly on the caster's will and efficacy. The mist can hide the caster but also that of others who enter it, which is why the caster needs to be aware of the surroundings. Upon the second stage of the casting, the caster can manipulate the mist to form figures that stands out by a darker edge or shade if you wish ( see image for example ). Using one hand the caster can manipulate up to five of these by lowering or raising his/her fingers. The user can control everything about the figures from movement, shape and form. A simple movement of one finger can have cause a figure to simply vanish. Using two hands doubles the effect. A master of the Arcana can doble, even triple the effect. Reputation: Clones, images and illusions are not something that is unusual to be used by Annas or Dons of the Obsidian Tower, but the Minor Burrow's Denizen Arcana falls into another category of eerieness. It is not common and even barely rare. Though it is practiced by few hands only, it is not an uncommon thing. "The luck of the Phantom Fox" is not a rare phrase to stumble upon, as the whispering figures of the mist can be encountered if wandering the dark halls of the Obsidian tower all alone. To do so is considered a lucky sign. | |

| Minor Mistweaving Arcana Major Arcana: The Sky Arcana and The Space Arcana Origins: Veil, an Azurite decided one day that the gathering of reagents is an obsolete task when one could use the resources around him specifically the water droplets within the air. Casting: In order to begin casting Illusions, one needs to realize that reference is required. If one were to create something strictly out of mind, it would tend to lack certain /lifelike/ qualities. But the beauties of this Minor Arcana is it very well can create things that are out of this world, but in the end it’s all an illusion. When casting the caster begins to think of what he desires to create, every detail. There are many ways to cast the spell, beginners are advised to start from toe to head, down to up. Take things slowly, start with small objects, observe as you create make sure it’s believable because the slightest proportioning can send the Illusion into a failure. While the caster is creating, he must move his hands and use his digits to edit the areas or create areas on the object, using his/her hands almost as tools to create and bring forth. It is worth noting that until completion the entire object will be surrounded by pulsing mist, making the object almost unseeable until the person has completed the spell. Focus: Mistweaving takes exceptional focus, there is no /stopping/ you must continue and finish the illusion in order for it to be functional. Depending on the size of the illusion it could take hours upon hours of focus to bring forth into this world. Working on every detail. It is a dedication and a responsibility. Spellwork: The spell works off simple means, by using the air around him a person is capable of bringing forth a creation. One that is an illusion, you can assign simple tasks for the illusion to do but this would require setting a movement pattern for the Illusion, only one who has fully mastered the art of Mistweaving can create more than one illusion at a time, this is because as the Illusion moves through the world it’s almost being controlled like a puppet by the caster, in the case that the Illusion takes form of a person to be believable the Illusion should probably move and talk like a normal person would. This causes the caster to be put in a state of immense focus, he has to take on the role of two people. The Mistweaver casting the illusion is best to retreat from the conversation as this happens so he can strictly focus on the Illusion itself, the Illusions voice must be the Caster’s voice. If one were to spot the caster at work, they would notice the caster would mouth every word the illusion spoke, and meanwhile the caster’s hands would be strange and tense, odd jerking movements with every movement of the Illusion. Reputation: This minor Arcana is quite rare amongst the towers, it was strictly created by Veil, an Azurite who has yet to teach it to anyone. The requirements are strict and the training is spirit breaking, rumors are that some of the lessons involve are memorizing entire maps in only a few moments and then recreating them strictly by memory. Picture: This picture and a good inspiration for this idea came from a short film known as "El Vendedor De Humo" Or "The Smoke seller" It's a very nice little video. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lNhpX2UQsmE | |

| MINOR MELISMA VIS OPES ARCANA Major Arcana: Major Earth Arcana/ Major Sky Arcana Origins: This minor arcana was originally developed by Papinia Docilus and Shuaib Kazi, lovers from towers that have always had more or less tense political relations. Docilus worked as Azure Towers ambassador in the Vermillion quarters, and Kazi was a politician himself as well. They fell in love and later found out that they both wished to use music that they loved most of all as a catalyst for movements and changes in their respective elements, earth for Kazi and water and wind for Docilus. They began working together and created the base for all musical instrument based magic in Citadel before tearing away soon after teaching their first neophytes. Papinia Docilus, as a proper azurite had written down notes on both of their experiments, so others could study their work and continue the work after they were gone. Casting: Using an instrument of any kind to produce command notes for the elements the caster wields. First the casting is begun by the starting phrase, "Cantus Melum", and once the caster can feel themselves drifting into the trance-like state of intense focus, they must utter another phrase to free the power within, brought forth by their music, the second phrase is commonly "Lagu Ragam". Soft and flowing soundscapes are created to create movement that is slow and gentle, while with more aggressive playing the caster can cause fearsome storms or quakes. The casting has to also end with a certain phrase once the caster is able to speak. "Diminuendo." Which will cause the elemental powers in the air slowly decrease. Focus: A mindset of extreme focus and quietness is required for the casting to work perfectly. The caster has to be calm, confident and flawless in implementation, even the slightest wrong sound can have catastrophic consequences for the caster and everyone around them. Effect: The caster can control different elements through sounds. Reputation: Renowned for it's eloquence and usability in both entertainment and battle, from charming musicians, who enhance the experience of listeners further by using elemental effects in their performances, to the fierce battle paraders whose drums and kongs echo through the fighting grounds, causing damage and stealing lives in their wake, the mages who have chosen to master this art always deserve wonder and respect from their fellow people. | |

| Minor Doll Maker Arcana Major Arcana: Major Construct Arcana Origins: Originating from Hariette Coleridge, mother of Germaine Lilian Coleridge, this style was created out of vanity and a sense motherly duty. Derived from the Minor Arcana's of Prosthetic Shaping and Mechanical cybernetics. Made to replace body parts that have become dysfunctional, deformed or even removed, this arcana is intended to create seamless, doll-like body parts that are both practical and pleasing to the eye. Her first casting of this Arcana was to replace her hand and wrist, which had been crushed in an unfortunate accident with a falling statue though the caster doesn't have to be the subject of the casting. This Arcana was only taught to one person by Hariette, her Daughter Germaine. Casting: The subject (Be it the caster or another individual), must remain in a chalk circle and in contact with the material the limb is being made from. The caster then moves around the material, remaining in the circle, making circular body movements typically of the arms and legs. If the subject is not the caster then it is recommended that the subject practice these movements in order to keep time with the Caster as movement is important to ensure the limb is forming correctly and has the proper range of motion. Spellwork: This Arcana is used to craft new limbs either to replace amputated or damaged ones. It can also be used to replace natural limbs, exchanging flesh and bone for limbs with better durability and flexibility than that of a natural limb. It should be noted that pain and other sensory feedback will still be felt through the limb, though material determines how much damage is done to the limb and how much pain is felt. For instance, a warrior with a steel arm would feel little pain and see little damage while someone with a porcelain arm would feel great pain if it were cracked or shattered. The limbs can also be removed full from their sockets in order to be replaced, less painfully, with more durable materials should the wearer decide to do so. However it should be noted that if a limb is being replaced without being amputated then the process will cause a block of flesh, muscle, nerves, tendons and bone to be left behind in the shape of the material used to craft the replacement limb. This can cause psychological and emotional stress, as well as immense physical pain, to the subject of the casting. Reputation: This Arcana is largely unknown due to Hariette only using it on herself and her daughter Germaine, only these two members of the Coleridge family know this style though the craftsmanship of the prosthetic limbs could cause a sharp rise in reputation as the limbs are both beautiful and functional and can be modified to the needs of their wearer. | |

| MINOR BLOOD FRENZY ARCANA Major Arcana: Major Birth Arcana Origins: It's rumored to have been developed by a Barathrum Pit-fighter, though no one has layed claim to the title in all the years its been around. Casting: Blood breeds blood, in order to hurt someone you have to hurt yourself. This arcana requires the caster to spill their own blood, usually from a puncture wound in the middle of their non-dominant hand, from which they draw a spiral shape outwards in their own blood while focusing on the part of their body they wish to enhance. You have to be very specific about the attack you want to power with less, picturing agility or strength in your mind while completing the spiral. Without the proper focus the spell will be unable to reach its maximum efficiency, which is why people usually choose to cast before a fight rather than during it. However, if someone has already drawn the spiral pre-fight and wishes to continuously enhance their attacks, they may continue to cut or puncture themselves to add to the power of the spell. This arcana doesn't make up for lost blood though, so proceed with caution unless you're looking to bleed out mid-fight. Focus: Pain. The caster must link their personal pain from the puncture to the pain they wish to reign down upon their enemies with super-powered punches and kicks! Effect: A more rogueish form of attack-enhancement, this arcana is used most predominantly within the Barathrum Pit. Proper military sectors tend to shy away from this arcana due to the self-flagellating nature of its casting. Reputation: It's a street-fighter's best friend, most commonly practiced within poverty and violence-stricken communities for that its beginner-level can be easily mastered by most people. However, if people are looking to enhance their physical strength beyond titanic-measures, they're going to have to put in the proper time and studying. | |

| Minor INVENTION ArcanaMajor Arcana: Major Construct Arcana Origins: Golden Tower, created by William Wright Casting: Focusing on a blueprint of the intended creation is crucial to the casting of this spell, all components of the invention must be nearby Focus: A calm mind with a clear idea of the intended Invention Effect: The Invention Arcana creates an object according to a blueprint that the caster focused on. It brings all the components together and merges them into the creation. The spell can create anything from small jewelry to fully functioning machinery or even advanced weaponry, the possibilities are limited only by the caster's imagination. Reputation: William Wright created this magic to help with small tasks however he and his daughter soon found it possessed much more potential and began to create machinery with it including steam powered tools however they never went public with the creation. Those who know of it are unsettled by it due to its potential to create weaponry unheard of. | |

| Minor Hidden Flame Arcana Major Arcana: Major Earth Arcana Origins: The Vermillion Tower is where this Minor Arcana originates from. Originally created by a Madani, everyone always disagrees which one, it was one of the many reasons that the Madani family rose to power, using the Arcana to cement their position.
Casting: The casting of the Hidden Flame Arcana requires one to be in top physical shape, having control over ones body is essential as even the tiniest slip up can cause rather major problems. Cast using a series of quick, exact arm movements, the proper combination of movements being a closely kept secret, only given to those of the Madani family, or those that are highly regarded by them.
Focus: One must be in a solid, unforgiving mindset to cast this Arcana, much like the physical aspect, there cannot be any faults or lapses in control otherwise problems can arise.
Effect: What the Arcana does is rather simple, although devastating in the hands of someone skilled. It casts a flame that the mage can direct where they wish, although what really makes it special is that it is invisible to the naked eye. Generally effect this Arcana is to surprise enemies and burn them alive before they even realise what is happening. Of course, the only real problem with the magic is that the heat is very much still there and is just about the only real giveaway that it is infact around.
Reputation: The reputation that goes along with this Arcana is generally associated to one of the major, well known families of the Vermillion tower, the Madani's. Usually only other high ranking members of the Tower or highly regarded members of the family are allowed to use the magic, and the use of it is regarded with exceeding social standing.

Long-range Flame Artillery
Arcana Major Arcana: Major Earth Arcana
Origins: Created in the Vermillion Tower, again by the Madani family. This Minor Arcana isn't as much of a closely kept secret as the Hidden Flame Arcana, as the family used it to gain more reputation with the Tower and the powers that rule it. A lot of the Vermillion military uses it to this day, although it requires a lot of training.
Casting: Often used hand-in-hand by people that can use the Hidden Flame Arcana, the Artillery Arcana is generally cast with specific runes, either etched upon ones armor or something that the soldier carries upon their person. How they use the rune is usually up to the soldier in question.
Focus: Casters of this Arcana need to have a free-flowing, quick moving mind and need to remember not to try and hold the magic for too long, lest it explode back upon them.
Effect: The effect of the Arcana is quite simple, to kill enemies from long range with righteous fire. The flames can be thrown, and aimed from great distances away so that a mage doesn't need to get into fights as often by simply destroying their foes in one fel swoop.
Reputation: Usually associated with the Vermillion military, mastering this is seen as a great feat in any soldiers career and cements their position in the military for life. | |
