NAME: Yasmin Fahid



Yasmin has long, blonde hair. Her skin is a golden brown, and her eyes are bright green. She is very curvy, and she uses these curves to her advantage, as she is not ashamed of them. There is no physical indication that she was not born a female, and in fact, many natural born females are jealous of her smoldering looks.

Magus: When Yasmin (then Yussef) confessed to her parents that she wanted to live life as a female, her parents threw her out into the world to fend for herself. They could not bear the shame of a son who wanted to be their daughter. She was experimented on by surgeons who made her drop dead gorgeous... but instead of removing her male bits and making them female, added female parts between her male bits and anus. Cold, and alone, Yasmin was hired to sing in seedy bars and clubs. One night, she was discovered and ultimately found a safe place in Ragnor, the Deviant.. an Obsidianite who had a penchant for collecting exotic and unusual things. Ragnor taught Yasmine the secrets of the Minor Illusion Arcana, as well as the Minor Alchemy Arcana. He taught her to make, and sell hallucinogenic drugs, and Yasmin began amassing wealth for herself by escorting and selling these drugs to her rich patrons. One night, Yasmin was severely beaten by a displeased customer, and her Magus, Ragnor was murdered in the following struggle. Yasmin found a job and a family in the Fuchsia curtain, though she is forever running from the guilt of her tutor's death and is constantly trying to redeem herself.

Casting: When Casting, Yasmin flips her hair over her shoulder and holds up four fingers (thumbs down). She runs the tips of her upward fingers over whatever she is Crafting at the time, in a slow, raking motion.

Rumour: "She may have been a man, but she's the hottest woman I've ever seen. It's probably a glamour."
"She's cute alright, and the fact that she has everything between her legs is an added bonus."
"I heard she murdered her Magus over drug money."

Political Standpoint: "Politics? I CAN be into them, if that's what you like.."

Arabella, or Red, as she is familiarly known as, is a petite, slight girl with ruby red hair. Her favorite color is red, and she adorns herself with its various shades as often as she can. She has two cosmetically prosthetic horns attached to her head, and she drapes little gold chains and trinkets on them. She also wears two whirring angel wings that she fashioned for herself, with spinning cogs and clanking mechanisms.

Magus:
Everyone prized Arthurius Snow for his whimsical toys and fantastical do-dads that he Crafted for the children of the Golden Tower. Arabella, his daughter, was his apprentice and delivery girl, as she loved bringing joy wherever she went and seeing the tots faces light with happiness. Arthurius, when he died, left Arabella the family business, and she has been Crafting thingymajigs and do-dads with passion and vigor ever since. The children love her not only because she MAKES toys that bark and sing and repeat their names, but because she PLAYS with them as well. Arabella is a HUGE child, and she is just as innocent, playful, naive and imaginative as her clients.

Casting: Red cracks her knuckles, and wiggles her fingers, then she whispers secrets into the toys the creates. What follows after is pure magic to behold.

Rumour: "She's a bit childish. Pretty, but immature."
             "She sold me a doll and I swear I saw it listening to my conversations."
             "The kids love her."
             "Toy making? What a useless profession."
             "She doesn't go anywhere without that damn teddy bear."

Political Standpoint: "Politics?" *scratches head* *smiles* "Wanna lollipop?"

The Spider



The Spider's true name is unknown. She reveals nothing about herself, and yet, she seems to know everything about everyone else. She is quite manipulative, and instrumental in most occurrences (even though she misleads most into thinking that she is merely a neutral party and an harmless gossip). She learned long ago that information is the strongest currency, and she would much prefer a useful secret than gold or silver. She sits motionless, a spider in the center of her web, a web that she spent years crafting... a web of information and informants that spans each and every tower in the Citadel. Nothing escapes her knowledge. Her web has a thousand radiations, and she knows well every quiver of each of them. The Spider is the queen of a "Nest" of spies and sellers of information who are quite loyal to her. To her, they are her "little spiders" and to them, she is affectionately known as "Mother." Authority and citizen alike are careful to tread on the Spiders domain, because she knows something damaging about everyone and everything. Mother is quite content to stay in the shadows, tending her garden and crafting her teas, all the while listening to the whispers of her little spiders... but if provoked, her venom is quite lethal.

No one is quite certain who taught the Spider how to craft her highly addictive teas. All that is known is that it was quite possibly an Obsidianite.. or a Vermillion.. Or an Azurite... wait...

Political Standpoint: "Why would I be interested in claiming a Tower? I have eyes and ears everywhere. My little spiders come from all parts of the Citadel... If I wanted any Tower, I could have it. If I wanted the Citadel, it would already be mine. What's the point of claiming one Tower when I already know them all quite intimately?"

Magus: Patience was always a beautiful girl. A bit icy, a bit prickly, but beautiful, nonetheless. When she was but a child, her father taught her all that she needed to know about boys, the world, business and being a proper young lady. Seeing as her mother was deceased, he was a bit overprotective and often lied to young Patience ("Boys only want one thing, and sex always leads to either pregnancy or fatal illnesses"). As she grew up, Patience became even more firmly rooted in her often ignorant and outlandish beliefs. She is a virgin, she has never kissed a male, and she believes that homosexual practices are the product of a horrific mental illness.

Casting: Patience does not Cast. That is too much power for a proper woman. A woman's magic is in the kitchen, or smiling graciously at elegant parties.

Rumour: "I heard that Patience has a permanent stick shoved right up her---" *Patience walks past* "G-good day, m'lady!"

Political Standpoint: "Politics are for men. Women belong at home, washing dishes and caring for the family. We wouldn't have all the problems that we have today if ladies behaved like ladies and gentlemen behaved like gentlemen." *Flounces away*

Lenore the Spectacular Reader of Doom

Magus: Madame Grimoiduire taught Lenore everything she knows about the art of card reading. The Madame taught Lenore not only to be theatrical, but to be accurate as well. Sadly, the Madame's dementia rubbed off a bit on Lenore, and she spends her time babbling on about forebodings of doom. She sees death and destruction everywhere, and her madness has caused her business to slow... and damage her credibility as a seer.

Minor Arcanas: Minor Hidden Tarot Arcana

Anchoring: Lenore grasps at the wooden skulls that she keeps around her neck, and fingers their polished surfaces. She then runs her hands over the cards gently, as if sensing heat from them.

Casting: Lenore's eyes roll to the back of her head, and her voice becomes octaves deeper. She enters a trance, and will have no recollection of her actions once she has left her dreamlike state.

Political Standpoint: Lenore's home is in the Obsidian Tower, and she has never known anything else. Like a senile, elderly woman in a nursing home, she depends on the Tower, and does not question what goes on outside of it.

Religious Standpoint: Lenore worships the spirits of the deceased, for from them she receives her answers.

Magus: Constance's father taught her magic, and horrified by her attraction to women, blamed it on him giving her too much power. That is why he refused to teach her sister, Patience. He refused to make the same mistake twice.

Anchoring: Constance criss-crosses her fingers and stretches her arms, popping the joints loudly

Casting: Constance is quite graceful, and her arms move as fluidly as streams of water. She holds them above gems, creating complex movements, then scoops up the materials. She cups her hands around them and murmurs how she would like for them to look.

Political Standpoint: Constance cares only for pretty things, pretty girls, and lavish parties.

Magus: Alfie had a string of private tutors whom his wealthy family hired to help their wayward son choose the right arcana to study. He eventually settled on Altheus the Noble, who taught him Illusion magic. Alfie used this magic to alter his appearance to fit the many roles that his secret hobby of acting demanded. But crime and gang activity got in the way of Alfie's acting, and he greatly prefers getting in brawls and slapping pretty womens' rear ends to life on stage. He is still quite theatrical, though.. reciting old plays before beating bros to a pulp and quoting poetry when wooing the ladies.

Anchoring: Alfie puffs on a cigarette to steady himself and get into character

Casting: Alfie using magic is quite rare. So rare, in fact, that no one has actually seen his cast.

Religious Standpoint: Alfie is a criminal of the worst kind.. one without an actual motive. He loves to fight, and that's exactly what he does. And he will fight for ANY reason at all.

Political Standpoint: Satin is a proud Vermillion, but not proud enough to be actively engaged in politics. He does, however, sell what information he learns in his conquests to Mother Spider for a steep price.

Religious Standpoint: Satin worships Satin, and his faith is apparent every day.
